Founded in 1953 by Japanese Kazuo Tajima, Phenix is one of the most established brands in the field of premium skiwear. Above all, the high demand for technological integration and the passion to continually innovate characterises Phenix to this day.

It was also company founder Kazu Tajima who discovered the potential of nylon as early as 1954 and who developed the first sports membrane technologies together with Toray. The ambition to manufacture highly functional skiwear has led Phenix to be the outfitter for many major racing teams, such as the Japanese and Norwegian national ski teams. Legendary skier and unforgettably associated with skiing and Phenix: Aksel Lund Svindal. Arnold Sports GmbH has been a Phenix distributor in Germany since 2013.
